My background: Having choreographed, taught and performed burlesque, I am a photographer with a unique understanding of the pinup genre. I am open minded and accepting, and enjoy helping women and men appreciate their beauty - regardless of size, shape or age.
My approach: I have a warm, friendly manner and help clients feel at ease in front of the camera. I consider the process as important as the product so having fun is an essential part of all my sessions. I don't do before and after photos because I dont *make* you beautiful, I simply focus on *your* beauty! It's all about celebrating who you are!

A bio written for an exhibition:
"Allyeska" is an experienced photographer working in Canberra, Australia. While her interests cover a range of photographic subjects her passion is in pinup, vintage glamour, fetish and fine art nude. With her training in psychology, and hobby as plus sized performer of burlesque, she has a unique understanding of, and interest in, the portrayal of the human form, femininity and sexuality. She is opposed to the prolific objectification and sexualisation of the female form in society and endeavours to celebrate the beauty of the human form free from society's stereotypes and the "male gaze". In so doing, she creates images which embrace the beauty inherent in all people and sexualities. Her images are a mix of playful, sensual, abstract, and erotic.
